Internet Café Tip: Pics and Songs on QSS

I know it seems quite ironic to see a legendary techno-twit such as yours truly come in here and write about Internet tips, but to those already snickering, I say to thee with great glee Denis Grondin!

Dennis was my Phys Ed teacher in high school, and in our neck o’ the woods, the Education Ministry wants to make sure that the people who make us run a marathon, at 12 years old and right after lunch, aren’t complete morons, so they have to also qualify as Math teachers. Thing is, as Jim Fix-like as Dennis was, his Math skills were just a notch above mechanical engineering on a VW Beetle. BUT, believe or not, he was the best darn teacher in that God forsaken school, because he understood what it was like to be a Math Moron. Most teachers are so blasé with their own subject, they tend to forget that a kid hasn’t been dwelling in it for decades, and then treat them like a bunch of… Let’s drop that one before it’s too late and I have to testify in court. I’d just like to say the brakes on that car were already pretty much gone…

So like Dennis who hunkered down to become a Math teacher, I feel I’m the one to help others with what I initially struggled to “get”. PLUS there’s the fact that I’m too lazy to find a contributor who will take on the subject. Any takers???

Tip o’The Week: Uploading images and MP3s directly on QSS

Say you want to include a photo in your post. Either it’ son your computer, or the damn thing won’t let you kink the photo so you must SAVE it on your computer. The you’ll need to find a photo hosting site that WILL let you link, register with them, upload, let the upload be confirmed, then find a link and THEN post it on your QSS thread. BUT it’s 30 minutes passed your curfew so who gives a crap, you just go to bed!
