Baby Come Back : Disappearing and Re-appearing Acts

Maybe it’s the warmer season or the fact that sometimes life online takes its toll; whatever the reason, QSS seems to have a bit of a revolving door these days, especially for members whose presence or lack thereof influence greatly the core of our community.

Peggirl returns to the radio after a much-deserved vacation. And BOY what a return it was!

Editor’s Pick:

Peggs didn’t only return from a much felt absence this week, she also crossed a significant milestone for herself AND QSS, by celebrating one year of being our favourite Radio girl. And like the good politician he could have been, our co-editor Arnprior insisted on hogging the occasion by making the event the subject of this week’s Editor Pick.

ONE YEAR! One BEAUTIFUL fun-filled year it’s been with Peggs and  the QSS radio. A lucky bunch of us party monsters celebrated the event Wednesday night with the Soothing-Voiced Manitoban as she offered herself an all-nighter on the mic, but I felt the Blog should pitch in as well and let her know how much she means to all of us in the QSS community, and how much the entire Blog team thrives from her frequent plugs and kudos (hehe). Being appreciated is one thing, but being recommended by Peggs, that’s a whole nother ballgame!

I regret having not been around much during that year, and to shamefully have only begun tuning in a few weeks ago. Howver, even such a lousy listener can see that Peggs has had quite a ride during those twelve months, and so did every blessed soul who was there to support and follow on her multi-layered journey. Hopefully, the Blog will be around same time next year to make this a double-dutch party and share in to the delight of this dedicated songstress we admire so.

The Blog’s Frog gives you a big salute, dear Peggs, and so does the entire team, for the warmth of your every show and post, AND the passion you dedicate to our entire community is something all of us should acknowledge without any reserve. We wish you nothing but the best, and hope the next twelve months will bring memorable moments you will cherish forever. And while you’re at it, forgive Compass will you? He’s just a kid who did a stoopud mistake…
