EXCLUSIVE: QSS Radio opens its own website!

Hey Folks! Arn here with some tremendous news! So awesome, I wet my pants twice and don’t even have a change of clothes with me! Those among us who didn’t know that QSS has its own Pirate Radio, well a big gosh darn shame on you - you’ll burn in Hell for that!!  For the rest, well that cool little feature from our community just got bigger.

 

The Site (QSSRADIO.COM)

The radio team, headed by the legendary Hitmewitdarock alongside Magical MrBrownee and Sweet Smilin’ Peggs, had thus far operated from one channel, accessible mostly by logging in to the QSS Chat, where our hosts would niche for hours to entertain us and take our many-many request.

Seems though that demand was overpowering offer, and Hitme responded in kind: A brand new site just for the radio, AND three new channels to listen to each of the hosts who can now take the mic whenever they feel like putting their own part in Party!

By logging in to QSSRADIO.COM you’ll be given access to FOUR different channels;

 Which are:

Channel one, the one where the actual show of the day takes place. when you log into the Chat’s radio streamer, that’s the one you’ll be listening to. Check the blog regularly to know who is on, and when!

Channel Two is none other than the Canadian Songstress herself, the lady with the interviews, the voice to charm any stonehearted Canuck into submission. Watch for her daily themes and special requests, listed weekly on the forum and on the QSS Blog!

 

Channel Three is the man with da plan, the GENIUS who gave QSS  incredible MP3 and IMAGE uploaders, the gangsta wih da hart o’gold - MrBrownee, ladies and gents!!!

 

And of course the roster wouldn’t be complete without a Papa Bear to make the world go round, the one who carried the radio on his shoulder and made it something unique to our own little community.

 

The Interview

And speaking of Hitme, the man himself responsible for this tremendous overhaul fo the QSS Radio generously gave his time to answer my questions on the chat. Here is a summary of what we talked about:

 

Arn: Hey Hitme! Got a minute to talk about the radio and the awesome new site?

hitmewitdarock: You can talk to me anytime about the radio.

 

Arn: Cool! So why did Hitmewitdarock start a QSS radio to begin with?

hitmewitdarock: well, it wasnt my idea, it was the brainchild of taintedheir’s. i just helped with some intros, then we got a radio server account, and full time radio took off from there.

 

Arn: How long have you been hosting on the radio then?

hitmewitdarock: It’s been 2 great years already. Time flies.

 

Arn: So you’ve been hosting for two years on rotation with Peggs and recently MrB as well, all from the chat. Why start a site for the radio now?

hitmewitdarock: The addition of MrBean gave a chance to get 3 more servers. One server for the “chat show”, and one for each of us, to play our own rotations.

 

Arn: That’s really cool. So now we can listen to you all the time, as well as the others?

hitmewitdarock: Not me so much right now. Dental problems. But I’ll be back on full time soon.

 

Arn: To be honest, I’ve never tuned-in when you’re on. Do you have special theme days, with each their dedicated genres?

hitmewitdarock: That’s more Pegg’s thing. I don’t really have a listing, just my rotation that gets bigger all the time.

 

Arn: So when exactly are you on, so that those of us who know you a little less can tune in?

hitmewitdarock: Peggs is on every week day, but you know that already. MrB and I are on when we can. We should have a bit more scheduling. We’ll be working on that.

 

Arn: And what’s your style when you’re on?

hitmewitdarock: Lots of Rock with some Country. I like all genres, but those two mostly.

 

Arn: You’re a classic guitar kinda guy? Any artists you fancy more?

hitmewitdarock: Well, Rush and Van Halen. But really all kind of rock. Here’s my listing, you can see for yourself. That’s all stuff I like.

Arn: You got all that on your computer? I’m feeling inadequate with my little playlists…

hitmewitdarock: It’s easy when you know how to get it. Peggs also has her music on her comp.

 

Arn: I’ve been throwing some really dark, nasty and unknown requests at her, and she always gets them.

hitmewitdarock: You ask , we get it. Not so hard when you’re a pirate.

 

Arn: And what about your cool design for the site? I do I get that for our little blog? Can I ask you?

hitmewitdarock: I pirated that.

 

Arn: Really??? Even the little animated characters?

hitmewitdarock:  yup. I can’t design, but if it’s on the net I can pirate it.

 

Arn: I couldn,t find a comments or email link anywhere on the site, so how can the members reach you to either put in special requests or discuss with you guys?

hitmewitdarock: The forum’s General discussion or the chat. we keep it simple and easy for everyone involved.

 

Arn: Now, you said something aboutr 4 channels equalling 4 servers; do you pay for all that yourself?

hitmewitdarock:  Every time an ad is clicked, it pays for the servers. And all of QSS.

 

Arn:You mean to tell me ads are a GOOD thing????

hitmewitdarock:hehe! Yep!

 

Arn: Good to know. Alright, taking up lots of your time, so let’s go with one last question.

hitmewitdarock: I got time. You can ask all you want.

 

Arn: This one’s a real doozy though,

hitmewitdarock: okay

 

Arn: Your pictures on the forum as well as the one on your Radio profile makes you look like a real bad Mofo. How accurate is that assessment of you?

hitmewitdarock: I’m a big bear. I’m Yogi Bear.

 

Arn: So I guess MrB is Booboo then?

hitmewitdarock: Booboo you silly bear. Fuc it’s the ranger, Booboo.

 

*insert audience laughter*

 

Arn: Alright Hitme, thanks a whole lot for your time today. Any word you’d like to say to your fans to conclude this?

hitmewitdarock: Tune in and Tune out.

We tried to hold an interview with MrB and Peggs as well, but the Blog’s editor is a lazy basterd and both are pretty busy, what with radio duties and all. We DID however receive very gracious and energetic message Peggs to all of her listeners. Here she is, in her own words:

Peggs here just letting you know that the list of what i will be playing is not worth it serious i get so many requests that i never play what i have qued up. So from now on Peggs show is a request show.
You can turn me on anytime you want, just go to qssradio.com. Tune in listen and if you can find me between the forms and chat i will play what you want. For those who have me on skype send me a message and your wish is my command. But for those who want nude pics i am going to have to decline.
Soo turn me on and watch me go Party after Party you never know what i will say or what i will play.
Tune in to hear Hitme and Mrb Rocking it out they are better then me maybe it is my voice my devilish good looks i have no idea but i love when you tune in and keep qssradio alive.  So there you go Ladies and Jellybeans, Boys and Gorillaz - a brand new sister site to out beloved QSS Forum, a QSS Radio site of its own, with 4 TREMENDOUS channels each with its own rotation so we could tune in to our favorite host’s selection any time, day or nite!
