The New QSS Bloggers are ready to pounce the Official Blog

Hey everyone!

Arnprior here, using the precious space I’ve been given on the official QSS Blog to spurt a few indecent jokes and make sure everyone stays clear of the new Celine Dion album. AND to let you all know the blog is about to be relaunched with a new team of frown busters, carefully selected from the gargantuan pool of active QSS Members. And when I say selected, I mean they had nothing better to do and I promised them pizza.

Those of you who’ve been keeping an eye on this here blog for a while know full well that it was taken down a few months ago when Canadian Prime Minister Stephen Harper learned that Obama called him a big nose behind his back. It took 3 months and a lot of maple syrup, but in the end our good friend and overlord Neels finally convinced Harper that Obama and QSS Blog are two very different things, even though the spelling might appear similar to someone used to saying Aboot.

While the official blog was down, a small team of mercenaries took it upon themselves to take up the mantle and bring netizens of the forum a blog they can call their own, even if it was actually mine. ALL MINE, YA HEAR?!?!?!?! er…ahem…

So for these past few weeks, we’ve been secretly re-buidling what we feel is truly a blog ABOUT and FOR QSS and its members, a place you can drop by everyday and in a quick glimpse get a sense of what’s been going on with our favorite community of film streamers. We also saw fit to add a few little cherries on top with a few regular features you couldn’t find anywhere on the net. In the next few days, that little barn of a blog will be joining the greater QSS family right here, along with its cadre of pizza toppers.

Urbangiggles looks at lesser known cinema every Friday

First off, the wrestling Lady known as Urbangiggles, usually seen dwelling the depths of the Others movie links section, offers a weekly look at some of the most underappreciated films ever made, gems that should’ve been celebrated at large for their quality and spirit but ended up ignored by most. Feeling like something offbeat that will open your mind and eyes to a different movie experience than, say, Michael bay? Drop by every Friday for THE DARK ROOM, right here on the Blog.

Got a question that just won’t you let you go to sleep peacefully? Have no fear…of the dark! ASK TERRI takes care of your worries. Our resident advice giver and wisedom spouter Terri Khali is up for the task. Covering all spetrum of the unknown, Terri WILL find an answer to your puzzlement, or otherwise simply invite you to reflect on the nothingness of having watched I Know Who Killed Me on Blu Ray.

Bored and looking for something to watch on QSS? Who better than an Leprauchaun to recommend a good title. And since we couldn’t find one of those cause they don’t exist anywhere else but in the confines of my delusional mind, we got the next best thing - a strapping Irish lad know to all as Rowanaboat. For the hottest in QSS Film links, drop by daily to check out THE PICK O’ THE IRISH.

And what would a blog be without a bit of burly brawing we like to call Wrestling? Check, my fellow SilverScreeners! The Cop-Bustin’ Rabbit called Thumper got you covered, from the latest events to fresh PPV events links, and even a song and dance routine if you ask nicely. Nothing will scare this Pile-Driving gamer away from bringing you the inside scoop on the House That McMahon Built. So keep an eye out for THUMPER’S STEEL CAGE

As we prepare to re-launch and movie our furniture frmo our little bog to this one, we genuinely want to make this little sandbox an extension of the forum we all came to call our online home, so feel free to jump in with us - send us your comments, question, and even your own littel rants or articles. We never turn anything down, unless my dog decides to eat it first. He’s quite keen on chewing up digital content. True story!
